‍The converted attic encompassed 60 sqm, requiring a comprehensive spray foam solution. 40% of the space needed through injection, while the remaining 60% was accessible for spraying. Additionally, two brick walls required sealing, and a 7-8 sqm membrane repair was performed.

Condensation Risk Assessment: Before initiating the project, we conducted a thorough condensation risk assessment to ensure the viability of the loft space. This step allowed us to identify potential challenges and tailor our approach accordingly.

Preparation and Cleaning: On the day of the job, meticulous preparation took place. The loft was cleared and cleaned, addressing any infestations that needed resolution. This ensured a clean and pest-free environment for the insulation process.

Mould Protection and Prevention: To safeguard against mould, we applied a protective spray to the rafters. This not only prevents mould formation but also ensures a durable and long-lasting insulation solution.

Membrane Inspection and Repair: A critical step involved checking and restoring any defected membranes. This meticulous approach guaranteed the integrity of the insulation system, addressing potential weak points.

Vents Installation: Proper ventilation is crucial for maintaining a healthy indoor environment. We installed vents to promote air circulation, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the insulation.

Spray Foam Application: With the groundwork laid, we proceeded to apply our premium spray foam insulation between the rafters. This step sealed the attic space effectively, providing enhanced thermal efficiency and energy savings.
